MONIQUE VAN HULST
About 10 years ago I left The Netherlands to live and work in the country of my dreams, Greece. I visited Greece during my vacations but I always wanted to experience what it would be like to stay there for a longer period.
After I had worked for a few years for a Dutch touroperator in various places in Greece I decided, together with my Greek partner, to move to a place near Athens. We chose Koropi, a place with a village character in the Attica region. Near the city but much quieter and not too far from the coast. For us, an ideal combination.
Let’s Meet in Athens
Not long after I made my dream come true and started my own biketour company Let’s Meet in Athens. I daily accompany(mainly) Dutch and Belgian tourists by bike through the Greek capital to show them the most beautiful places and tell stories about the Greek culture.
An unknown part of Greece
Let’s Meet in Athens clients often tell me about their experiences with hotels and apartments. With this information in my mind I started to have the idea of offering a small house at one of my favorite places at the coast, not far from Athens. Especially for tourist, to experience a part of Greece that is not yet spoiled by mass tourism.
To Spitaki tis Ninas
Porto Rafti is a seaside town not far from the place where we live. We love to come here to swim, lunch or for an evening stroll along the promenade. It is an ideal place for people with children because of the lovely organized sandy beaches and boulevard. The house we have named to our daughter Nina, who, like us, loves long Greek summers by the sea.
